Showdown of the ESDU World Dance Master in Poreč/Croatia

ESDU WDM brought together the finest young dancers from all over the globe to exchange ideas and share their love of dance – on and off the stage.
This years ESDU World Dance Masters where bigger and better than anything we have experienced before. From May 20th - May 24th, 2009 Porec was the perfect place for the final showdown of the ESDU World Dance Masters Series.
More than 3000 dancers from 25 countries qualified to present their outstanding work in the dance and performance arts.
The ESDU World Championship was minted from the thrilling atmosphere, great dancers and routines, the masterly choreographies and the dizzling costumes.
The fabulous, new build event-centre in Porec was crowded with enthusiastic spectators.
Numerous Side-events the big opening ceremony, flag parade, DJ Dancers Party and much more turned this World Championship into a big dance celebration. Workshops with the top professionals and master teachers from the entertainment industry and arts community – cutting edge hip-hop combinations as well as world class ballet training completed this famous event.
Our goal was to pack 5 days with the perfect combination of learning, dancing, international exchange and fun.
All this made the ESDU World Dance Masters 2009 an unforgettable experience for all the participants and visitors!
