2nd Jury's Meeting

24.01. 2010.

Since the beginning of the season 2009/2010, the jury team met for the second time to focus on the last year's competition once again in order to give to all directors the guidelines for the forthcoming season's preparations.

This way we'd like to warn all directors/coaches on the details that are an integral part of the performance and need greater attention.

The jury team unanimously concluded that some situations are often being repeated so they want you to pay attention to them.
Please note the following:

-    CHOREOGRAPHY:
Choreography must be appropriate for the readiness and ability of the performers (dancers). It  should reflect the skills of each dancer and show their best.
Creativity, originality and choreographer's ideas , as well space usage are highly rated.

-    COSTUMES
When designing costumes, all managers are asked to have in mind that they must be appropriate for the age and constitution of the artists themselves.

The Jury team does not support „sexy looks“ of children and minors in any context.
Costume Designer's creativity and ideas contribute to the entire performance.

-    TECHNIQUE
It's important for the choreography to be appropriate for the readiness and skills of the performers (dancers), as well as to be clean  and properly performed in all disciplines.

Special attention should be paid to the line and position of the hands, knees, shoulders and legs, use your "plie". Use only "pirouette" and "fouettes" or any movement your dancers can make properly.

Mixture of styles is allowed in HIP HOP but each of them must be defined (recognizable) and technically impecable.

Usage of complexed technical elements is not desirable in case their poor performance damages the overall impression. Therefore, it's better to use simple, well-trained elements instead of the complexed ones in order to better assessment.

-DANCERS
 For each dancer, good training and safety is very important before the competition.
